Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the newly formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. The producer was also of costumes/sets writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble in her final year she made her first appearance as an actor (and Lighting Designer) for SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she has been part of a range of games shows. The daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her twin siblings. Las Lomas High School, which she was a cheerleader. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. On a personal note Post was earlier married with Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with whom she has two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, a wonderful wife and mom and an excellent role model for several Hollywood celebrities.
